Welcome to a new website and a new season!
Twenty-five years – where have they all gone? If you check out the “About triangle” tab then go to “Celebrating 25 years of triangle,” you can scroll through memory lane. I know that triangle has meant a lot to a lot of people and for this I am very grateful. Remember Beirut or Bent? The controversy with Fred Meyer over selling Vampire Lesbians of Sodom tickets? When Tony Valenzuela was here and said it was okay to have bareback sex AND be HIV positive? Or even when I Love You-You’re Perfect-Now Change ran off and on here for almost 3 years?  Remember when Danny Pintauro (Who’s the Boss?) was on our stage? Or when Kenneth Mars (What’s Up Doc and Young Frankenstein) took over for an ailing actor? I remember having cocktails with Heather Locklear – okay, so I’m name dropping, but I’ve gotten to live it all! I miss Jim Caputo, James Pepper, Robbie Buckmaster, they’re gone, but I will never forget their love toward me and their time on our stage. I'll also never forget when PFLAG first asked for me to speak to their group or when I walked up and found a swastika on the theatre walls during Bent and Measure 9. I can’t wait to build more memories as the next twenty-five years come toward me.
And what better way to start off the theatre season than by doing shows by Jonathan Larson and then adding Dr. Ruth and 5 Lesbians in the mix! Come celebrate the arts with us this year, we can’t wait to share it with you. Click here to buy tickets or you can just call our box office at 503-239-5919.
We hope you like the new look and the new season.  If you have a question, a comment, just post it, we’re here to listen!

Oh, our mission, it’s “to entertain and educate through the celebration and presentation of contemporary live theatre, and to promote diversity and tolerance through the presentation of accessible, high-quality productions addressing a broad range of social and political issues.” I think we do a pretty good job at that!

At triangle, there’s an irreverence that’s fun. And a liveliness. It’s just absolute fun. There’s a party going on.
