Pen Pals is the extraordinary play about two women Bernie and Mags and their friends that unfolds over decades.

Bernie and Mags live in different countries, never meeting, but since they were teenagers, they’ve shared trivial bits, the most intimate details, all the happiness, all the heartache.

The play is an extended flashback where they    read the letters they sent to each other  over the past 50 years. The characters age before the audience as they tell the stories of their lives without the aid of costumes, make-up, or wigs.
